About Bottle Warmers

on topic to go direct
The most common
bottle warmer is the good old traditional pot of hot water method.
However like the traditional pot of Bacon and Cabbage, it's not
to everyone's taste. The pot of water if affective and easy to use,
as well as cost effective. Thumbs up from Baby.ie.
Others like
to use the Microwave for heating up bottles. Again, very effective
and cost effective! However, micro-waving feed can cause hot spots
where the waves concentrate on one area more than others, nothing
a good shake won't solve. Be a bit more careful when heating pureed
solids.
Electric
food warmers
Electric
food warmers are solely designed to heat your baby's bottle
to a pre-specified time scale. Some people, think food warmers are
a bit extravagant, but depending on your lifestyle, you may decide
this is one luxury you could do with. The warmer works by adding
a specified amount of water, together with the bottle or food jar,
and wait approximately 5 minutes, depending on brand. The unit turns
itself off. Hassle free! Some manufacturers add bowls, car lighter
adapters, and a range of other extras. Think price and shop around.
The choice is there.
Again our only
advice with any electrical good is to stick to the make you know.
Many baby-goods are made under licence in China, the quality, and
back up may not be up to scratch.

Thermos
food warmers
Thermos food
warmers work on much the same method as your old Thermos for
the cup of tea. Just follow the same instructions, thinking "baby,
baby, baby" as you go.
